Teachers, caregivers and other staff members of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam received their certificates for successfully completing an Occupational First Aid: Special Needs Adaptation Course program as part of Berjaya Aman’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to help people with special needs.
This course is part of Berjaya Aman’s dedication and commitment to delivering quality occupational first aid training and supporting organizations in keeping work environments safe for everyone, including those with special needs. The Occupational First Aid: Special Needs Adaptation Course is a way to make Bruneian society more accessible for everyone.
The training introduced adapted emergency response skills for people with special needs such as specialized CPR techniques, safe handling and transfer of individuals with limited mobility, management of behaviour-related incidents and practical response to common medical risks faced by special needs individuals.
Pusat Ehsan Head of Administration Nurul Huda binti Haji Muhin expressed appreciation to Berjaya Aman for conducting the course. One participant shared that the CSR programme had been highly beneficial and with the knowledge gained, the Pusat Ehsan team plans to conduct in-house awareness training to ensure wider staff readiness and confidence.
